Successful Account Executives usually come from a variety of backgrounds including surveillance, restaurant, telecom, payroll systems (ADP, Ceridian) and/or document imaging (Xerox, OCE, etc), but common traits include a drive to succeed, a desire to control their own income and a creative approach to selling. All of our Account Executives go through a comprehensive paid training program that is focused on improving sales skills and understanding our company and our industry. Our competitive compensation package includes a base salary plus commission.
- Grow and maintain existing customer base within a defined geographic territory
- Generate and follow leads to acquire new business for the company
- Identify and properly qualify business opportunities
- Lead negotiations, coordinating the decision-making process and overcoming objections to closure
- Work towards meeting and exceeding quotas set by management
- 5 - 7 years of outside selling experience (B2B)
- Ambitious, self-motivated
- Ability to sell on value with a drive to succeed
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required
